My Personal Details
- This page shows the participant's personal information as recorded in CTRL
- First Name
- Family Name
- Date of Birth
- Mobile Phone
- Address
- Preferred contact method (either email, mobile or mail)
- It shows the name and email of their nominated alternate contact
- There is an "Update" button that enables participants to edit any of the above information - with the exception of the participant email. There is a note: "Note: if you need to change your email address, please contact a study administrator via the Contact Us page" with a corresponding hyperlink.
- If the participant has any associated family members registered in CTRL (not necessarily in the same study) then the name and status of these associated participants are shown. Status categories are:
- "Parent / guardian"
- "Family member" - non-guardian, non-dependent family member
- "Dependent child" - dependent will be likely be able to provide consent themselves when they reach 18
- "Dependent (permanent)" - dependent will not be able to provide consent themselves above the age of 18
- The "Update" button does not enable participants to edit family information.
- There is a clarifying statement in the family member section: "Note: dependent consent is based on the consent of all guardians in the family. Click here to learn more [hyperlink to documentation website]. If this section does not look right, contact the study administrator [hyperlink to Contact us page]."
- The "My Personal Details" page does not currently indicate whether the logged in participant is a "Parent / guardian" or non-guardian.
